Best Steak and Wine Pairings To Try
Not only is Carversteak NYC the best place to eat near Broadway, but we’re also considered one of the best wine bars in NYC.
When we developed our wine program, we kept the entire menu in mind to help you create the perfect steak-and-wine pairing.
Some of our recommendations are:
- Malbec: A fruit-forward, velvety red that pairs beautifully with ribeye and bone-in cuts.
- White and sparkling wines: Ideal with seafood selections, like the Mediterranean Branzino.
- Cabernet Sauvignon: Bold, structured reds that complement the richness of premium steak cuts.
- Pinot Noir: A lighter option that draws out the subtle flavor of filet mignon.
- Syrah/Shiraz: Peppery and robust, an ideal match for dry-aged or heavily seasoned steaks.
Unsure where to start? Our sommelier team is available to help you decide and make recommendations. You can also view our menu ahead of time to see our current small plates, caviar service, seafood, steaks, and entrees to help you start thinking of pairing options.
